And since you requested the recipe, I figured I would leave it here before tending to the caravan's many hungry mouths... THE QUEEN'S GLAZED & GRILLED YUCCA 1 Yucca Salt Oil Honey Trim off the ends. Cut them into pieces about the size of a thumb. Boil in salted water. Reuse the same pot, but remove all the water. Add a bit of oil. Fry until they are a medium golden brown. Add honey for glazing and sprinkle with a pinch of salt before serving. (The salt reduces the bitterness and enhances the sweetness of the honey!) Ta-da! Perfectly grilled yucca! The trick is to serve them hot... and with love!
